Lani primarily composes dissonant but dreamy vocal and instrumental tracks for modern dance, although she has been known to perform a sultry song or two with the San Francisco cabaret she co-founded and subsequently left to her fellow comrades in arms in 2003 . Now in New Haven for graduate school, she and her newfound drummer hope to be performing live - as soon as she secures a practice space. Oh, and she believes in simplicity. And strings. She loves strings.
