Delta Sigma Pi, the international co-ed professional fraternity, has been around on campus since 1971, establishing itself as San Jose State's premier business organization.
Delta Sigma Pi is structured like a small business, allowing its members to experience and learn about organizational management. Each chapter conducts a variety of professional, fund raising, and community service events through out the year, designed to provide education, leadership, and guidance, as well as opportunities to socialize with others who share the common interest of business.
In order to be considered for membership, candidates must receive an invitation to join, complete an orientation program, and demonstrate a willingness to perpetuate the ideals of the Fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi accepts men and women of all creeds and colors who are declared business, economics, and hospitality majors. Cross-membership in Greek social fraternities and sororities is permitted.
