Underdog Pictures was formed in February 2005 after the success of the documentary film Piece By Piece. A group of friends who met in their freshman years at there respective institutions worked together since 1999 filming editing and designing to create the first and most cohesive documentary on San Francisco graffiti art for the last 20 years. When the film premiered at the Roxie in San Francisco, the two scheduled shows sold out with in an hour and a third was added on to appease the crowd. Sine then the film has traveled the world via Screenings and Film and Hip Hop festivals. The largely successful DVD was released in march of 2006.
The crew is rooted down town in San Francisco currently working on their next film "Truth In Numbers" (working title) another documentary focusing on Wikipedia and the advances in technology that are changing they way we receive information. Subjects interviewed include: Jimi wales, Noam Chomsky, Sir Richard Branson, Vince Cerf, Jaron Lanier, KRS ONE and many, many more. The film is scheduled to be completed by mid 2008.
