Born and bred in St Helens Merseyside, Dj Rasp first got into djing back in 1996. Influenced by hip hop dj's such as cash money, isp, xmen ect. he started messing around with records and expirimented with scratchin. After afew years doin house parties,mixtapes and practicing, Rasp started competing on the battle circuit in 98. He has since become a veteran within the DMC & ITF competitions, reaching the UK finals on afew occassions. He has been working as a scratch dj for Liverpool hiphop band The Shakti for the last 7 years, doin shows and appearing on afew E.P.s and also guesting on the 2005 Go-Wise release 'Up The Wizzards Sleeve' L.P.
