Derek Tucker, better known by his producer name "Kountdown", is an American record producer and songwriter. Born and bred in Queens, New York, He was exposed to musicianship at a young age. His father was a successful music producer and songwriter, so it was inevitable that Tucker would inherit those musical talents. He always had a passion for rapping since he was young but in 2005 when his mother moved the family down south to Orlando, Florida is when he started to produce music. Diligently executing beats one after another, fine tuning everything, making sure the beat came out the way he envisioned it. After years of working hard to craft his sound, Kountdown has become one of the most talented youngest producers to step on the scene.
