Music for those that aint here yet
Gyrth is an alternative hip-hop ensemble (Al Rod, COG, and Willie Johnson) based out of Metropolitan Washington, DC. Completely self-sufficient, the group creates in-house soundscapes by fusing synthesizers with live sounds, heavy drums, and thought provoking lyrics.
COG is the MC from the countryside of Virginia. Aside from tipping cows, COG racks up an impressive bio...playboy, former _______ (removed to avoid incrimination), poet, graphic artist, and when he wears his certain pair of sunglasses he is sometimes mistaken for a Sean John model.

Al Rod is the producer of the band and is a proud supporter of Linux and Open Source. He is a rock star in the making and has been known to occasionally hit the right note. Born in the south (as in Colombia, South America) he grew-up listening to a crazy blend of styles that influences his pieces.
Willie Johnson is currently in ________ (removed to prevent husband retaliation). Willie provides the needed spark and influence to drive the group into absolute freedom or absolute chaos or any such combination of the two.
Although there is no recipe for Gyrth...you can definitely notice some of the flavors.... Hip-Hop, Rock, Soul, Funk, 80's Pop, Jazz, Cumbia, Salsa, and Yamama.
