I guess my real accomplishment is that I've never had to work in any other field or do any other job except in the music business. I own a personal studio, played keyboards in front of thousands of people, (I've been lucky enough to open for many national acts), I'm working on an album of instrumental tunes for a national label and also music for a film. I love production work and when I have time, I try to work with other up-coming artists to hopefully help them use their talents and their studio time wisely. Still, I have a saying: "You never know how far you can go until you've gone too far". That definitely applies to music! It seperates the amateurs from the professionals... You'll got to have that "something extra" in you that is willing to take the leap...I have a college degree in piano and I'm a published writer for reviewing audio gear, software, etc.I haven't spent 20 minutes on myspace.com (even though I joined in Jan.), and although I'm quite advanced on computers, I'm just getting started here! Maybe some of you girls and guys will be kind enough to help the "old guy" out a bit.One thing is for sure. I love the music that is happening today and I am totally into new sounds and vibes.
