Okay, okay. So what's a Gaviidae? Gaviidae is the class name for Loons. I'm a Minnesotan, so my state bird is the Common Loon (Gaviidae immer). Ages ago some friends and I were trying to start a music group and "Gaviidae" was the name I suggested. It just kind of stuck. Plus, I'm kind of a loon. If the spelling of Gaviidae is too hard to remember, just call me Kristy. Or K-jo. And, hey, my dad was calling me K-jo when "J-Lo" was still just Jenny from the Block.

I'm 31. Live in a very small town in west-central Minnesota - don't blink, you'll miss us. If you reach the South Dakota border, you went too far. I married my soulmate, Chris, in April of 2005. We have two beautiful little girls - Nissa and Abbey. And two rambunctious dogs - Buddy and Jazzie.
