Like myself I'm sure there have been many times that people have beaten themselves up over and over again for mistakes that they have made. I've come to realize that we are sometimes our worst enemy!! What we need to do is turn our situations over to God and let him handle them because once God forgives us it's forgotten so we don't have to keep sinking lower and lower in our own self pity. I've made this mistake numerous times and trust me the feeling isn't a good feeling. I've felt like I was in quick sand sinking deeper and deeper, quicker and quicker, looking good on the outside but on the inside hurting, crying, and spiritually dying. I was stuck I couldn't move, I couldn't go anywhere it felt like I was just taking up space. I've cried night and day asking God what it is that he wants from me. No answer! That caused more hurt I begin to get angry with God because it seemed as if he allowed me to a place and then left me there without helping me. I begin to talk to God speak his word back to him and one day God spoke to me and said, "I forgave you." From that moment one I realized that all that matters is Jesus if he forgives me then that's all I need. It doesn't matter what other people think, say, or do because they don't have a heaven or hell to put me in. God loved me in spite of all my mess, and all my faults. I realized that I wasn't here just taking up space, but I'm here because God has a divine purpose for my life.Who can love you better than he does? People come and go and they gonna talk no matter what I just want to encourage someone that may be feeling the same way that I was. It doesn't matter about other people keep your focus on God because he will never leave you nor forsake you. Don't beat yourself up over things that you've already asked God forgiveness for because it could cause you to be in a stuck situation. Don't let people define who you are. Know who you are and in whom you are! So shake yourself loose and press towards the mark!
