Emma Dontes [Under Co.]

Past - Emma Dontes was born the 6th of December 1987 from her parents Ashleigh Dontes and Glen Rainey. She was the first and only child from this partnership. Her parents were very much in love and all seemed happy until Emma’s father left them both. Without a word, without a forwarding address and without an explanation. Since then she and her mother have been very close. Emma looked after her while she got over her father. It was hard to watch her mother cry so much but with each other they got through it. This was when Emma changed her second name from Rainey to Dontes, to be the same as her mother.
Her childhood was pretty simple even if it was a little lonely, knowing this Ashleigh brought a cat to keep Emma company. Emma has cherished this cat all her life and it was her only childhood friend. She was bullied at school rather severely because she was slightly over weight, they would often push her about, call her names, break her things and hit her in the playground. She never told anyone this and still hasn’t to this day apart from her best friends Katie and Kim. Emma met them both in high school where they just gelled together. Katie was always the funny and sarcastic one while Kim was more of a rocker chick with a hilarious wit.
The “Trio” went on into university together in which Emma is now studying Web Design and History. Katie joins her in History but is majoring in Spanish. Kim went on to study music and biology. Emma had slimmed down into a beautiful young woman and really blossomed in everything she set her mind to.
Emma’s home life has stayed the same over the last few years but a terrible pattern was appearing. Every single man that her mother gave her heart to, he would break and shatter it as if it was made of glass. Emma would always pick up the peices and help her mum to mend her broken heart and to dust herself off to try again. This changed however when her mother met James Doolittle. Emma knew this man was different and couldn't be happier for her mum. Now that she is married and Emma has a brand new Father in Law, she still finds it hard to trust men but Brandon and james are slowly changing her mind on that matter.
Personality - Emma is the bright bubbly type, who is always up for a laugh and loves to spend time with her friends and family. She has a heart of pure gold and would give her life for anyone she loves. She is very clever. Very much like her parents. She has a natural talent when it comes to computers and she is never that far away from her lap top! She is known around town for being called on to fix peoples computers and being able to burn professional looking DVDs and CDs for a fraction of the real price.
Loves - More than anything, Emma loves to sit on her laptop designing graphics for websites and making videos for Youtube. It makes her feel accomplished and proud of her work when people across the world go crazy for it. However… she is easily distracted from this by her friends and family. Even more so by this so called boy called Brandon who has definitely caught her eye. Like any other young woman, Emma loves her music. Her favourite band happens to be Within Temptation led by Jillian Davies who is one of Emma’s hero’s. Emma did finally get to meet her at one of her concerts which she likes to call “The best night of her life” As she was taken back stage to meet Jillian. What an honour it was too!
Hates - First and foremost, Emma hates liars and bullies. It really hits a nerve when she sees people taking the piss out of someone weaker than themselves and you will often find her threatening a bully as “The big girl” to leave a child alone. She also hates abandonment. No matter if it is her father, her friends or boyfriend. She hates people who just up and leave… for obvious reasons. Emma also hates people who talk down to her as a child. That really annoys her. She feels much older than she is and people who think she’s just a child are soon crossed off the christmas card list! Last but certainly not least… she hates anyone that hurts the people she loves and care for and she will not stand for it.
Present - Emma is currently dating the charming Brandon Taylor after meeting in the showers at University. Since then, the young man and his 'damsel in distress' have been inseparable. Even Katie and Kim are seeing less of her these days. Will it last? - No one knows but Emma really does hope so. Shes never really been happier and her relationship with her mother has never been better. She gets on with her new Father in Law and has accepted him into the family without a problem. Shes so proud of her mum, for finding the right man and finally being happy. Which is all Emma ever wanted. She will always be there for her, like all the people she loves.
