I am here for Friends

About Me

I've lived in Montgomery my whole life, except for the 4+ college years in Tuscaloosa. I'm married to an incredible man named Dave, who I love with all my heart! We are happily raising his two children (Emily and Ryan) and are expecting our first together in late May/early June (Parker). We are all moved into the new house and getting settled. I'm a huge Alabama fan, which is hard in this town. I'm a teacher at Lee High School (12th grade English and Journalism) and most days I like my job. I'm the newspaper advisor to the eleven funniest kids in the school. I spend the rest of my day trying to teach British Literature to students who ask me questions like: "Isn't Beowulf a wolf?" I also have a side business doing calligraphy. Anyway... after 3:00 I just like spending time with my sweet husband or hanging out with my friends- cooking out, watching football, going to restaurants. I like to read and listen to music or watch movies when I have some time to myself. I love the beach and try to go as often as I can. I'm really lucky to have the friends that I do because I love people who have funny stories and it seems like lately I've been hearing a lot of them.

My Interests
