I'm not good at small talk, so meeting famous people...chasin them down for pictures with me isn't my bag. I'd rather be in the background shooting video or taking pictures on the road with a band. I wouldn't mind meeting my biological parents...and the guy who robbed me in New York's Hell's Kitchen back in 86. He took my Dead tapes. :(
Music has been in my life all my life. I enjoy anything created with intent. All kinds of sounds, songs, symphonies, scores and the like. Years of college radio allowed me the freedom to choose for others and I used to pick from the following: Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Skid Row, Van Halen, The Stones, The Beatles, Tom Petty, The Bodeans, Sting, Arlo Guthrie, Boz Scaggs, The Boss, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Grateful Dead and Jerry's Band, Bad Company, BTO, The Three Tenors, Puccini, Scruffy the Cat, Boy & His Dog, Sade, Black, The Church, The Cure and more.. As time went on, I started to make a move back to the roots. Blues and ... Country Music. Actually, their one in the same most of the time. I enjoy any type of Blues music but when it comes to Country....there's just the old school sound for me. Love to sing it, love to hear it. These days... I'm listening most to my husband's music and the Country sound of Ray Scott. Now there's two guys who know what the hell they're doing.
The Godfather Trilogy, The Score, Grumpy Old Men, Grumpier Old Men, Citizen Kane, all Sean Connery movies, Legends of the Fall, Erin Brokovich, Great Expectations, The Ususal Suspects, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Cold Mountain.
I haven't had a television in the house for almost two years now. It's amazing how much time I have on my hands to do other projects....and I still get everything I'm missing from television....I just get it from the internet. I think everyone should try it.
My Mom. She saved my life.
