From the streets of Miami comes a new sound from the south. Lyrico is 20 years old with music and money on his mind. Lyrico began his rapping career in junior high school but things didn’t really get serious with him until about his second year into high school. It was that year, when he realized just how lyrical he was. He became excellent at composing songs and writing song lyrics. With help from this producer Hitman and a good friend Faze G, they began their own collaboration. Lyrico began battling peers in high school and eventually after realizing just how good he was, he came up with the name Lyrico. He moved to New York his junior year of high school with hopes of getting a record deal, but unfortunately, things didn’t work out as he planned. Lyrico didn’t loose hope. Lyrico moved back to Miami during this senior year of high school and was more determined than ever. He began to establish a few connections and was even given the opportunity to be on a compilation album with the independent label Black Hawk Records. After spending a incredible amount of money paying local recording studios and not feeling much support from Miami, Lyrico and his producer decided to move to Tallahassee. In Tallahassee, Lyrico and Hitman worked very hard and eventually saved enough money to purchase a home studio. With the studio, everything began to fall in place and Lyrico decided it was time for a change in scenery. Lyrico moved to Orlando. In Orlando, Lyrico completed his mix tapes Welcome to the Bottom and Shit on Niggas Vol 1. He is currently working on Shit on Niggas Vol 2. and plans to release it sometime in March. Since residing in Orlando, Lyrico has also appeared publicly a few times, including performing in the nightclub Club Element. I promote with Ozone Magzine Street Team, Intern For Front Line Promotions, and work part time at a studio.
