I love to laugh, talk, read, travel, dance, listen to music, eat, watch movies, drive, work out and sweat.I'm pretty low key but can soap box about child welfare and racism until you kick my ass to get me to shut up.I am super aware of the inequalities in New York City... and feel the discrepancies daily in my work. I spend my days walking around the Bronx, and come home to midtown NYC, angry, guilty but thankful for all I have. Can one person make a difference?Strong advocate for some kind of universal health insurance as I am outraged at the amount of people that do not have health insurance. Did you know that the funding for Child Health Plus (health insurance program that ensures that most children have health insurance) is in jeopardy of being cut? And that a family of four needs to make under $20,000 a year in order to qualify for government assistance for health insurance. Am I still talking? :)

Music is my driving force in life. I wish I had more opportunity to hear live music.I just discovered Anjelique Kidjo. She's excellent!

I was watching Law and Order but recently gave it up. My favorite shows include House, Grey's Anatomy, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, The Office, Six Feet Under (when it was one), Brothers and Sisters... (i don't have cable!)
i read all the time but find it hard to rank my favorite books... lots of non-fiction on my shelves.
