from 1979 to 1981, i, the School of the Holy Spirit of Quezon City was a satellite school of the College of the Holy Spirit of Mendiola. i was established in accordance with the government's plan of "decongesting educational institutions to expand the outskirts of Metro Manila area or nearby provinces." The cornerstone of the school was laid at Capitol Hills, Quezon City near Interim Batasang Pambansa on May 20,1978. In the school year 1979-1980, the school offered Kindergarten up to First Year High School with an initial enrolment of 847. i am the School of the Holy Spirit, a school committed to the education of the Christian Filipina, who must meet the cultural and the practical demands of her age... a school where a genuine Catholic atmosphere permeates, where charity enlightened by faith touches every person, every relationship, every learning experience. Truly, i exist. I am happy to inform you that our founder Blessed Arnold Janssen will finally be canonized as a Saint on October of this year... we celebrate the YEAR OF GRACE.
