Cosmolodic led by bassist & composer Lisa Sian, have been playing their own brand of funky world Jazz regularly on the London live scene since the beginning of 2005. Performing mostly original material fusing styles as diverse as Rare Groove, Brazilian Sambas, Ghanaian Hi-life, Dub Reggae & West African funk as well as a selection of personalized arrangements of tunes by Milton Nascimento, Wayne Shorter & Ornette Coleman.

Kari "Alfie" Bannerman - One of the best African jazz lead/ rhythm guitarists and has been at the heart of Ghanian music for over 30 years bringing a joyful exuberance, along with a deep knowledge of blues and jazz. His credits include recording and touring with Osibisa, as well as a member of African Guitar Masters alongside Lucky Ranku and Abdul Tee-Jay.

"Dr" Dan Hewson Whether playing a vintage Rhodes, Hammond or analog synth, "Dr" Dans thoughtful colourings communicate an expansive depth of field to the music hes involved in. Dan also has a busy freelance career; he has written and arranged for Groove Armada, Madonna, The Art of Noise, amongst many others.

Tony "Trombony" Hayden dub-wise trombonist has been playing the trombone for over 20 years in all of the trombones various and distinctive styles. This has taken him on a journey through orchestras, jazz, bebop, avant guard, reggae, soul, blues, mambo, salsa, samba, acid jazz, techno and house, hip hop, funk and just about anythink else including Algerian folk music!!

Eduardo "dudu" Marques - Sao Paulos funkiest drummer has been playing drums professionally in Brazil for ten years. He studied alongside his cousin Gustavo at the Groove School and since then has played with Chico Cesar, Paula Lima and trumpeter Walmir Gil.

With a passion for many different genres of music, Lisa has the ability to bring a unique ambience to any project she is involved in. On stage Lisas positivity & vibe create a vital energy.
Some of the people Lisa has performed with since arriving in London include Wild World Wild with Idris Rahman & Jonny Phillips, Carl Orr (guitarist- Billy Cobham Band): gigs include the International Guitar Festival of GB & Notting Hill Arts Club with Nathan Haynes. International collaborations include Ndiaga Issa Mbaye (Senegalese National Orchestra) and Ilon Ba (guitarist- Baaba Maal).
Lisa was born in England & then moved to Australia with her family at age 4. Growing up in Sydney Lisa started playing bass at 15 and enjoyed her first taste of the touring life at 17. After establishing herself on the Sydney funk circuit, Lisa gained valuable experience & notoriety as a composer/band leader with her jazz group Juju.
In search of new musical adventures, Lisa took a sabbatical in West Africa. Now based in London, Lisa is active within various music scenes including funk, jazz, Afro-Brazilian & dub.
