Hey everyone!
We are Far From Keene; a four piece from Peterborough, Ontario. We have been a band since late 2005, and over the course of two years, we have recorded an EP and gigged around Central Ontario and the GTA.
As a band, we try very hard to create unique music that cannot be placed into one category, such as metal, hardcore or alternative. Instead, we like to create songs that are a good mix of those genres, to appeal to just about anyone! All four of us enjoy making music and playing shows with each other, and it's always our music and love of the band that keeps us together.
We are very grateful to be where we are. Even though we have yet to be signed, we play play shows regularly, and that's farther than a lot of other bands have gone.
Thank you, honestly, to anyone that has ever paid to see us preform! Hell, anyone that ever stood and watched us preform...for free! You guys are why we play, and we love to entertain, and continue making music.
