I am here for Friends

About Me

I was born on Honolulu, Hawaii, yes the main island Oahu.I am Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Chinese, Portuguese and Irish.I am married to a wonderful loving man and I have three beautiful children, my youngest, my son graduated this year from high school. I have two daughters and sorry, they are both married. LOL And yes I am a grandmother as well, they call me "Nana". I have a total of five grandchildren, four boys and one girl. I love them all so very much. My husband, my kids, my grandchildren and my parents are the most important people in my life.I have some wonderful loving and caring friends whom I've had most of my life. I am so happy to have them still in my life, the true friends remain in your heart always.Well like I mentioned earlier,I'm married, I've been married to my wonderful husband, whom I love very much, for almost 25 years (November, we'll celebrate our 25th anniversary) Wow, it's seems like such a long time, but it's been great.I know through thick and thin, through sickness and health, poorer or richer he is and always will be there for me as I am there for him. I couldn't even imagine my life without him. I thank God for blessing me with such a loving and caring man.I've been really fortunate to have had the opportunity to do some traveling (due to my husbands employment) which has been an experience in itself. We lived in Yokusaka,Japan for three years. I loved the sushi! We visited some historic places and I'm proud to say that my husband climbed Mt Fugi, definitely a great accomplishment. It's where my daughter met her husband and where my only grand daughter was born. So yes we do have some history there in Japan. I am glad that my children experienced the culture of Japan, it's not everyday one gets to travel so far overseas.I lived in New York for a year. While there, I experienced my very first "blizzard". OMG I will never forget it! Cars covered with snow, icycles forming on your eyelashes, there was snow everywhere! It was amazing. They have the greatest pizzas and chicken wings, Yummy! Polish food also yummy! And lets not forget the Puerto Rican food, the best! Yes it was a life experience I will never forget. But NY is definitely not for me. It's too damn cold! LOLWhile in New York I did visit Canada. I did check out Niagra Falls, what a gorgeous country, definitely something you don't forget. It was amazing! Canada is very beautiful. And like NY, it's freaken cold, I'd say colder than NY. LOLI also lived in Central California, near Salinas, Montery, Carmel in a small town called King City, if you blink you'll pass it! LOL. Carmel has the softest sand, ever! Great wineries there in San Luis Obisbo. Definitely a great area to visit. Now I live in San Diego and I love it! I remember when we landed at the airport and seeing the runway lined with palm trees, I said, "I am home". It so reminded me of Hawaii, the beaches, the weather and yes the palm trees. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. If you haven't been here, do visit, you won't want to go home, lol.OK well if there is something else you'd like to know about me, please feel free to ask away, just don't get all perverted because then I'll have to block you!.. ..I edited my profile at SpaceGravy.com , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

My niece Tamara! She is the daughter of my brother Gerald Garrison. Her mother is Nia whom I believe to reside in Hawaii. I regret that Tamara hasn't been a part of our lives. I don't know if she realizes that she has so many cousins, aunts and uncles a grandmother and grandfather who love her dearly. All of these years I have tried to find my long lost niece and haven't been very successful. I've searched the internet hoping to get some info on where she is located, still to this day I haven't been able to find her. She has remained in my heart and in my thoughts and prayers. I do hope that she has had a happy life and that someday God will bring us together. I never got to meet her in person, just from photos that I received from her mother, Nia. So if someone out there knows of this person would you please let her know that we love her and would love to meet her.
