1. Music---I love to sing. I love to listen to all kinds of music. I like to write songs/poetry. I love going to concerts. I don't mind Karaoke or Sing-Sing (for those who don't know, it is a rockin' piano bar) once in a awhile.2. Travel---Hadn't done much major traveling until this year, just the average vacation and day/road trips--but now that I have been to India via Los Angeles, Tokyo & Singapore, I can't wait to go on my next adventure!
3. Photography--I just started enjoying experimenting with my camera and taking photos while out on my Monday drives. I think I have an eye for a good photo. I really like finding old buildings to take pictures of.4.Food/Dining--Anyone can look at the pics and see that I love good food--especially ethnic food. The few times that I do, I love to cook, too. Anything spicy and/or sweet is always good.
5. Politics--I am a nerd. I will admit it. I get my daily dose of talk radio on the way to work or on the way home from work--sometimes both. I love to have a good conversation about the workings of the world and why I don't believe that the Republicans OR the Democrats speak for me.
You Are a Moderate Mama
You're not overly political, and your views fall more with the American mainstream.
In fact, it may be difficult for you to decide who to vote for at times!
Your approach to politics is reasoned and well though out.
Are You a Liberal Lady or a Conservative Chick? Those are the big things, but of course there are so many more! Hockey (Go Pens!), Conversations over Starbucks, Art, Photography, Collecting Frogs & Snowmen, Playing in the snow, Driving through the country around dusk in the summertime....I will try most things at least once before I write them off...In the Murphy home, we all root for the following teams:However, I have bucked family tradition and have become a Steelers fan! (Thanks to an awesome experience at a pre-season game this summer!! Nothing like Quaker Steak Wings, Scott Blasey singing the national anthem, and thousands of terrible towels waving to feel like a true blue Pittsburgher!! It doesn't hurt that I drive past Heinz Field twice a day because of my job!)
HERE WE GO, STEELERS! HERE WE GO!
My husband!!! (If I have not met him already and just don't know it yet!)Are you out there??
In the meanwhile, I'd settle for meeting a few of my favorite celebrities like Lenny Kravitz (He is sexy and he plays the guitar!! WOW!! Does it get better than that??)
a .jpgMy newest addition to "Meghan's Imaginary Harem" is none other than Sendhil Ramamurthy! He is hotter than eating curried food in Calcutta in the middle of the summer! (I have been to India.Trust me,that is pretty darn hot!!) I only started watching "Heroes" because he was on there.Love it now!The truth is, most of the people I am fascinated with are dead (Mother Theresa, Gandhi)and are in heaven so I will get to meet them someday. Besides,I have enough characters in my life that keep things interesting.

I love all kinds of music. I LOVE Dave Matthews!!! I am seeing him 5, yes 5, times this summer. Love my Lenny. My CD collection includes everything from Amy Winehouse, John Mayer, Kanye West, Josh Groban, Shania Twain, The Doors, Sarah McLachlan, and so much more. If it's good, I'll dig it.
I am not so much into movies as I am music, but if it has Matthew "Mc-Conna-hottie"(I coined that! I own the patent on that--don't steal my word, kids!) in it, I have probably seen it. My favorites are "When Harry Met Sally", "My Best Friend's Wedding", "Footloose", "Bruce Almighty", "Office Space" & "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days". (I know if my friend "Mr. Creepy" could see this right now, he would be rolling his eyes. I do watch "serious films (see that, I used the word "films")" on occasion, too. But, for the most part movies and TV are my means of "mindless" entertainment.

2qspu0 I love Sex & The City!!! I dig Heroes!!! I also love ER (not as much without Noah Wylie, though). I have a bad habit of watching cheesy realty shows ("America's Next Top Model", "Top Chef" and my new favorite, "DEA") Oh, and let me not forget--my daily dose of media satire, "The Daily Show" & "The Colbert Report". Secretly, I also dig "Boondocks", "Robot Chicken" and am being molded into loving anime.I miss seeing "The Practice" and "Quantum Leap". And with my schedule, I never get to see "Boston Legal".
I don't read as often as I should. Right now I am reading a book called "God's Politics." I highly recommend it to anyone who has a shred of religious beliefs and is interested in politics. Very insightful and challenging. I am also reading "Culturally Incorrect" by Rod Parsley and about a handful of other books right now.
Why, that is my new favorite TV show!! But, seriously..My parents, Mother Theresa (even more so after being in the slums of Kolkata)Gandhi, Rick & Ruth Shields, a certain "red bearded white boy", those who daily are working without fame or glory to rid the world of war, poverty and injustice and the one who rescued me from hell, my Savior Jesus Christ."Blessed are the peacemakers...."
