About Me

I write for: BrightestYoungThings.com
Son of a Southern Preacher Man.A nice guy, but I've got a redneck side when you get me agitated. A punkish guy with proper etiquette.My work keeps me busy and on the road. I've got great friends flung around the world - would like to meet a few more back home in DC.
* I once worked with the Iraqi Olympic Team. We had four athletes, but our runner literally kept running and defected.
* I once tried to pick myself up at a club in Denver. It was dark, and there was a smoke machine and a very blurry, warped, full-length mirror involved.
* I've rambled the north country revisiting Highway 61 while listening to Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited.
* I've spent more than one night in Bangkok, where all the tough guys tumble.
* Oh...and I can do this .

My Interests

Rodeo, Travel, Architecture/Design, Italian Culture/Cooking/Language, football, gardening, music, gym, ashtanga yoga, contortionism.

I'd like to meet:

Good buds to hang out with. I tend to frequent places like the BlackCat and DC9 where all the straight indie boys are more faggy than I could ever dream to be.

I can be a bit shy at first if alone and not with my friends, so outgoing personalities are a big draw for me.

Music:

A former music journalist, I have a diverse palate. I'm also slowly writing a piece on the 20th anniversary of the Punk scene in Tokyo, so I've developed a taste for JapCore.
