About Me

Hate housework, love poetry. I spend some nights "...coding[my] soul in brief lines of poetry that scurry across sleep, long-gone by morning, like children running away from home in the night..."In real life I tutor, teach fitness, edit, proofread, and write poetry. Sometimes I'm so content to be alone it gets a little scary...but if I could find someone who gets my poetry and doesn't get on my last nerve, that could change in a heartbeat. (Warning: I dance and sing into my hairbrush sometimes.)I don't get bored. Always good books stacked up to read, music to play, poems to write. I'll get out of bed at 2 a.m. if a poem comes calling. I believe we're on this journey to learn to love, become better people, live gently on the planet and raise good kids who'll do the same.I miss having a dog and consider dog slobber therapeutic.
