I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Threw my belongings in the trunk of mom's old car and shipped out from NYC to LA. Competitive Square Dancing (AKA Acting) is a lot easier to pursue out here on the west coast. So is teaching PILATES. I've finally got a "clean" beach nearby and all the "authentic" mexican food I can stomach. Viva la avocado and el pomogranite.I am truly blessed to have such an AMAZING, CRAZY, LOVING, FUN, WIERD, INTRIGUING, MOTIVATING, CARING, RANDOM, INTELLIGENT, HAPPY, and BEAUTIFUL mix of friends! I'm loving every moment...

My Interests

Oy vey! Used to do the skating thing when I was a wee lad... that's Synchronized Ice Skating to those not in the know. Yes, somewhat like Synchronized Swimming, but the girls wear ice skates. It's quite the spectator sport. Now I satiate that urge with the occassional rollerblading jaunt. I'm also interested in exceptional and innovative fruity martinis that don't cross the line and umbrella into the girlie drink catagory. Let's see... I love creative people and even more creative collaboration, sleeping way too late, and long walks on the beach (seriously! - but I also want to go swimming if it's warm enough)

I'd like to meet:

Uh, Gael Garcia Bernal, Tatum Channing and Brian Austin Green... I would've also included Paula Abdul, but I just met her at the local Baja Fresh! I told you Mexican is hot over here! Oh... please DO NOT friend request me if i don't know you or if u don't have something REALLY interesting to say!!!I also want to meet anyone who wants an amazing PILATES instructor!

Music:

My tastes are eclectic, so I'll give you a sampling of recent listening: Biggie, Tupac, Kanye West, Journey, Sublime, Metallica, Twilight Singers, Killers, Ace of Base, Beastie Boys, Bjork, Cibo Matteo, Cranberries, Dr. Dre, The Doors, The Fugees, Gerardo Nunez, No Doubt, Nellie, and Outkast - the list goes on.

Movies:

So many! Amores Perros, Memento, Little Miss Sunshine, City of God, Trainspotting, Garden State, Welcome to the Dollhouse, The Cutting Edge (only for the memories), Billy Elliot, Run Lola Run, Amelie, Donnie Darko, ...

Television:

I have a little too much time on my hands lately... hmm Heroes, Entourage, Lost, Project Runway (the new Top Chef takeoff isn't that bad)... other random reality shows like Real Housewives of Orange County (because I'm a real house whore), and that Flava flav show were he gives clocks to various mutants... also Deal or No Deal (mindless, but somehow captivating)

Books:

Some of the most influential during my impressionable years: Unbearable Lightness of Being, Motherless Brooklyn, Number the Stars, The Things They Carried, Wild Swans, Tale of Two Cities, The Beach, Wind up Bird Chronicle, The Tin Drum... and too many more

Heroes:

My friends.

A quote.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be bril...
