Let's waste time, chasing cars

About Me

Hah that's a tough one. I'de say everyone I know, knows me a bit different than the last. And it depends on what day of the week, cycle of the moon, etc, it's really much too complicated to get into now. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.1

My Interests

Well because everywhere I go I get asked the same question...."do you play basketball", I can always answer that one as YES, I do, but don't get me wrong, you can ask me that, I love it! But only once, ask me twice and I'll make you find the Jade monkey before the next full moon.I'm TRYING to learn how to play guitar, but so far it's just me randomly hitting the strings and singing along to just about anything I can get my hands on. And YES I am working on decoding Get Low by Little Jon onto acoustic (check back on that one).I'm a huge fan of being outside, if you ever want an extra for a camping or a canoe trip, I'm your dude! Just so long as there are no bears around, I don't know why, but Stephen Colbert and myself just do not like them! (and if you know who he is, that's a secret clue as to the kind of television/humor I'm into, ahhhhhhhh interesting)

Music:

I like just about anything and everything! Normally I have one band that I like in a genre, the it just fans out from there. Right now my favorite band is Something Corporate, if you've heard Konstantine, you'll know why. A close second though is Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance. Two great bands to sing along to when no one is home and I feel like getting my scream on! hah. Oh and Backstreet boys are always great for the group sing-alongs at the lake! who cares out there, the animals can't make fun of you for it! and if you read above, it's GREAT bear repellent.

Movies:

Well it's impossible for me to narrow down all the movies I like since I downloa......I mean RENT a movie just about every night. I'd have to say that Donnie Darko right now is my favorite. And a bit older, but still a gooder is Enemy At The Gates with Ed Harris and Jude Law. Generally I like to see movies that are 'different'. Donnie Darko falls under that catagory. I'll watch just about anything though! Confused? excellent (say that in Mr. Burns voice). Oh and I'd have to mention Hero with Jet Li, not because of the action, but it has a really sweet undertone/message to it, and I feel smart because I get it........orrrrrr I read a movie review site that explained it to me and THEN I felt smart because I got it, lets go with the first one though. Honourable mention goes to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and NO that's not a porno, it's probably one you've never heard of but daaaaaamn is it funny. How can a gay Val Kilmer NOT be funny? it just writes itself!

Television:

I did my best not to have a TV out here while I'm going to school, but since you can download anything and everything you want I've become addicted to Lost and Trailer Park Boys, and Curb your Enthusiasm. Of course the card that trumps those all is the Daily Show, but that doesn't count because it's semi-news, but damn is that Jon Stewart ever a funny bastard! You just can't beat a short sarcastic Jewish guy, you just CAN'T!! I dare you to try. Well maybe Dave Chappelle, but everyone likes that guy, so it sorta goes without saying, although my personal fave of his is his standup routines BEFORE his show came out..."bitch, I live in a fuckin' trash can!!" HAHAH if you know it, you'll be laughing too, if you're not, then I feel sad for you, j/k

Books:

I don't read a whole lot of books during the year that aren't text-book related. I COULD over the summer, but it would be a violation of my contract. My brain and I got a divorce, as a rule, I get custody during the 8 months I'm at school, and then we go our own way come summer time. WHEN I read for fun, I like books by Jeffrey Deaver, he's the guy that wrote the Bone Collector, and all of his books are similar (except only one so far involves a dude that collects bones). Dan Brown's books are fun to read, but again, EVERYONE knows the Da Vinci Code, so it's not as fun to talk about how I like it, although his book Angels And Demons to me, is a better story than Da Vinci, but not as cool with all the historic details. Sorry you asked?, wait, you just read this, no one asked anything. hmmmm You sir just blew my mind.

Heroes:

Here is where I get sentimental. awwww. But in actuality, my friends are my heroes, for different reasons. I can't mention EVERYONE, but each one does have their impact. Chris for being a man, I mean the guy is married with a newborn daughter, happy as can be. Dave for going against the grain. His company tried to screw him over so what does he do? He goes and writes a book about it! That's so awesome! Roger for being the funniest guy I know. There aren't many people that can make me laugh out loud from just reading MSN conversations. Even though the history would destroy us both if it ever got out lol. Josh for his in your face attitude. I'll bearhug any guy at the bar for you again buddy. haha what a crazy night. Ken for not caring what anyone thinks of him. I've seen that guy naked more times that I've seen MYSELF naked! Goofy Newfie Louis for being...well, a goofie Newfie. Justin for being the baddest ass guy you'll ever meet from MacGregor. Who takes a piss from a 5th floor balcony in the middle of downtown? Apparently I do. Sammi for being the best person to talk with about anything that has to do with relationships, even though I'll never admit that I take advice from anyone, you know what I mean, Jon for being the thickest skinned guy you'll ever meet, Gunner for having the worlds coolest nickname, even though he doesn't like it, Brian for being the white Dave Chappelle, and your crazy ass basketball moves, the list could go on and on. Oh and of course I can't forget Jenn for constantly informing new people that my nickname is in fact HASS. Will I ever escape that? and for anyone who is actually still reading this, I MIGHT explain the nickname if you ask nicely. And of course last but not least, Bruce, for showing more than anyone that no matter how down and out you are, you can always turn it around and start something and never give up. Peace out
