He was the son of David K. Lassiter & his wife, Dale of No. Dartmouth; and Dolores Ann (Barboza) Boucher & her husband, Larry of Acushnet.He was born in New Bedford and lived the past 12 years in Fairhaven. He was employed in the construction industry. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing; and was a die hard Red Sox & Patriots fan.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance, Johanna Correia of Fairhaven; two children, Jennifer and Jake Lassiter, both of New Bedford; five brothers, Al Lassiter & his wife, Jackie; David Lassiter & his wife, Laurie; Eric and Troy Lassiter, all of Fairhaven; and Kevin Costa of New Bedford; six sisters, Tracie Costa of Freetown; Melissa Cabral & her husband, Louis of Acushnet; Megan Berche and Kaitlyn Klimek, both of Dartmouth; and April Faria and Crystal Leandro, both of New Bedford; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in order to assist with expenses.Visitation will be at Rock Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 PM with a Funeral Service at 7 PM.
