Ruend (pronounced Ruined) is a band that came together in late January 2006, formed out of two older bands (Joe and Jaime). Their goal was originally to bring back grunge music but things evolved, and whatever sound that came out of their instruments was their own, it turned into many different elements of music with a little bit of something for everyone.
Later on, after some chemistry sessions they brought in 2 vocalists, Tanyuh and Jorge, then did 2 shows, after a long 3 month break they came together again and this time with a 4th member Joseph, who was a former band member of Joes and extremely great drummer. After an unspoken break up, singer Jorge left the band on unspoken terms and Tanyuh seemed to fade away. Back to the core of the band Ruend enlisted the help of long time friend, Danny to create samples and Ideas..after picking up the new singer Kassi the songs just started to roll out..and the core made the hard choice of playing and writting all new songs showing no trace of the Old Ruend. With the enlistment of the drummer Nolan, things sounded great and everything was falling into place for the debut of the New Ruend. Then in the August 2007 after some Demo Recordings Kassi left the Band on good terms and headed out to El Paso in December 2007 she came back and the band is writing again.
