PUT ME UP!

About Me

In the Heat of a Buffalo summer in 2003, four people tired and tattered from extensive touring in bands such as kid gorgeous, swingset hands and the bloodyhollies came home. Scratching their heads after being in bands that could not embody the reason why these young men were playing music, they decided to pick themselves up and dedicate their lives to their first love, Rock n Roll.

In the coldest city in the Northeast, the bastard child of NYC, the crossroads to Cleveland, Toronto and Detroit, the only option for this band of young men is to describe their life through anthemic songs which regard youth, ambition and confidence as the major weapons in the quest out of a nowhere town. The Design are here to make history and to champion the spirit of the new rising American youth culture dedicated to letting the world know they will never settle for less.

In their short existence , The Design has played with the likes of Wheat, The Honorary Title, Underoath, THe Bled, The Von Bondies and more.

Like Oasis is to Manchester, The Beatles to Liverpool, MC5 to Detroit and the Stones to East London, The Design is the voice of a rustbelt generation ready to rise and willing to capture their dreams, visit the world and take the necessary steps to realize their true calling, at any cost.

The Design is the sound of youth, ambition and confidence set to Rock n Roll. Let us Make History together.
