About Me

My first experience on a musical instrument was the piano, my mother got me started with lessons, but I was not too thrilled with the structure of having to learn to read and write the notes, when what I wanted to do was play!! So I started on guitar, here I found an outlet for my yearning to create and make some noise. My older brother gave me my first guitar and from there I was hooked. Living on a steady kiel of Dylan, Zep, Eric and the Beatles, I started writing my own songs and trying to emulate my peers. I've just completed my second CD 'Feels So Right' . It's an all arcoustic album done in Open D with the assistance of Jordan Lincez, who not only plays most of all the leads and rythms but also contributed in the songwritting.New Track for the Hockey Night in Canada tune:Please log in to this site and vote as well as ask all your friends: http://anthemchallenge.cbc.ca/mediadetail/319158

Once again a big thank you and heart felt wishes to all who particapted in the making of my second CD. MVTo purchase CDs, go to:http://www.songcastmusic.com/network.php
Influences: I’ve always been a fan of the English music scene, starting with the Beatles, and then with the whole generation of English musicians finally maturing into the old school of American Blues. Some of my favorites are Jimmy Page and all his open tuning stuff, Jeff Beck, so powerful, Eric, Mr. slow hands, Supertramp Stawbs, Sting, and so many others from the American side: There’s Dylan, the reason I started writing and playing, the first song I ever fully learned was ’Mr Tamborine Man’, Jimi H, Robert Johnson, Van Halen, Boz Scaggs & Mr. Tom Waites. From Canada: Tom Cochrane, Men Without Hats, April Verch, Kelly Lee Evans, Kevin Cook, Gino Vanelli, Feitz, and many others.
