The Prince of Wands

I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I recently graduated from the University of Utah with a B.A. in English.
I am employed by the government as a Postal Employee. Now hold on to your hats, I'm no Postman. I am a Data Conversion Operator! Which means I sort mail electronically... I never actually see a piece of real mail, just images of it. Its a blast, let me tell ya.
I am a romantic at heart... but I am not beyond bondage.
Anyhow, I have a strong, opinionated personality and I typically have a lot to say about everything (and usually have some knowledge to back it up). I think I might be bipolar (joking) so, depending on the alignment of the stars, or perhaps the hemispheres of my brain, you may get to talk to and explosively emotional, passionate Romantic who will stand for nothing but truth and love, or a mellow, introspective, logical Mentat (Dune reference) who weighs every second and very every syllable of every moment to determine every course of action. I trust you will find me in the state of mind that you most deserve. And now you know... the rest of the story. Good day. ..

My Interests

I like to write (if you missed my blog) and read. I'm a fan of Hemingway but also Anne Rice, try reconciling that. I like movies, fine dining, bowling, video games, card games, and things of that nature. I'm also open to trying new things, if you have any suggestions or offers.

I'd like to meet:

My type of people are interesting people; people that can hold a conversation and contribute a unique perspective on the subject topic.

Music:

I like most music. I have a tendency to like less Hip Hop/ Rap, but there are a few songs of those genres that I enjoy too. I have favorite songs, but they are seldom the songs that people associate with me. People claim 'Clocks' by Coldplay, Nirvana's 'Come As You Are', Abandon Pools 'The Remedy', and 'Faint' by Linkin Park all remind them of me. I however, like some slightly more obscure songs than those (not that I don't like them), like 'Cautioners' by Jimmy Eat World and 'Way Out' by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, some Muse, some Kenna, some Dresden Dolls, etc.. Also, I am a fan of Techno and Trance... pretty much anything remixed as such. I like pretty much anything with piano in it, solid drums can usually hook me, and I also have an affinity for Show tunes... but that is another story.

Movies:

Most I can only watch once, some don't deserve that. Few I can watch twice. Fewer I can watch on a bi-yearly basis.

Television:

TV watching has been on hiatus.

Books:

See Movies. But change 'bi-yearly' to every other year. New Fav's include: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Paradise Lost (excluding the last two books), and The Great Gatsby.
Thank you English Major requirements!

Heroes:

Let's just say they're on fire.
