Music:
Again, I am really eclectic. I can safely say I despise improvizational jazz. Other than that I like just about every other type of genre. I especially look for lyrics that speak to me, or musical pieces that move me. I am currently in love with the blues. Not so much today's version of the the blues, but more like old movie blues, piano bar blues.... but try to find a piano bar in Eugene.
Movies:
Did I mention that I was eclectic? Ok, chances are if it has won the academy award for best picture, then I probably haven't seen it. I like the occasional drama, love the romantic comedies, my not so secret shame is that I love B movies and cult classics. (ok, I'm not really ashamed about that at all) Scarey movies are really high on my list, but it seems kinda hard to find a movie that really scares me any more. I like those movie spoofs and movies even I consider stupid.. I still love to catch the new Disney and Pixar flicks, but I will be dead and cold in my grave before I watch the spongebob movie.
Television:
Oh, just about anything really. Well, not sports. My favorite channels are Fox,The WB, Discovery Channel, and AMC. Of course, I don't have may channels to chose from otherwise I would add the comedy channel and the SciFi channel. Probably Cinemax too, and that is enough said on that channel.
Books:
I admit it. I read romance novels!!! There is nothing like soaking in a nice hot bath with a good trashy novel. My other favorite genres are fantasy fiction, true crime and suspence. My favorite author is currently Laurel K. Hamilton, but that is subject to change without notice. Oh, and yes, I have read all the Harry Potter novels, but that is as far as my fasination with Harry goes.
Heroes:
I don't really have any heros. I just try to be the best person I can be and not try to live up to anyone else's ideals.
