1. .IN. A. Sense
In. A. sense is a play on words for someone or some thing that can tap into your five senses. This duo definitely has a way of grabbing your attention through their music. The group consists of two sisters Lisa 21,born in Harlem Hospital and Deesha 19,born in Our Lady of mercy Hospital.
The sister’s were raised in the Bronx with three other siblings. While young there family underwent a lot of struggle and with that came travel, which brought the family to Syracuse New York. It was in Syracuse that the sisters expressed a strong desire the go further with their music.
From there In .A. Sense began to take shape and make a name for themselves. Some say the duo creates a sound so heavenly in unison that the two voices form one pitch, one harmony ,one melody, and one unique sound unlike any other. In .A. Sense has performed at the Juneteenth and the State Fair in Syracuse New York they also have done a lot of paid shows and opened up for other artists such as Cassidy at the tavern in Auburn N.Y. Donell Jones at club sophistications in downtown Syracuse, and in October 2008 the ladies opened at the Landmark theater also in downtown Syracuse for other artist such as Jaheem, Jagged Edge, Trey songs, and Tyniesha Kelly .
In .A. Sense has recorded tracks with rappers unkasa of (Skull Gang/Purple City) and Taj Mahal of (The Senate) they have also collaborated with a few local artist such Herizon who has became an close friend and introduced them to some of the people they know.
In .A. Sense continues to perform and write there on music .The studio has became there home away from home already taking over the cuse they have won best female R&B Group two years in a row (2007-2008) at the upper State independent awards. Now there ready for a deal and to expand and show the word what they’ve got .
