Mostly music - rock and indie - probably because I am so not musical that it fascinates me.
I also have a thing for obscure words and where they come from. Well somebody has to!!
Josh Hartnett but I'd go totally non-verbal
Simon Pegg to see if he's really as geeky as he makes out
anyone who is prepared to send me a message to say why they want to be friends. please don't just add me it doesn't make a lot of sense does it?
ok be more specific...
at the mellow end I do like early Travis and Coldplay stuff, Mansun, Radiohead - Pablo Honey and the Bends - then I like Muse, Maximo Park, Bloc Party, and so forth; omg I almost forgot Nirvana Violent Femmes Smashing Pumpkins ; and I really did forget The White Stripes oops !! Pretty much anything from the year of good music (1996); at the less cool end of the spectrum I like the odd bit of teenage angst music. So I'm not a teenager. So sue me.
I really am not into the new breed of singer/songwriters ie James rhyming slang Blunt, KT Tunstall, Katie Melua and all that. That said i have been to and enjoyed some local acoustic nights.
I like going to small local gigs for less than a fiver and seeing good bands. Yes folks it can and does happen in the centre of the universe that is Birmingham
