Arize was originally formed in Palmer, Alaska in 2002 by founding member Josh Davis (Lead Vocals) and (Song Writer) & later Richie D. (Percussions). Arize has stamped its name on the Alaskan music scene for the last 6 years….With a blistering arsenal of edgy guitar and unique sounds on the turntables, this combination has placed them in the forefront as one of Anchorages’ premier rock and hip hop bands. As time went on, people really came to like the sound they had and they were pushed into writing and performing new material by fans. Their music is “fresh†and “newâ€, familiar and easy to follow, a pleasant reprieve from all the music that seems to sound the same.
