"The Demon-Haunted World" by Carl Sagan defining science vrs psuedoscience and examining why most people are willing to take ridiculous statements at face value despite scientific proof or question. "The Ascent of Mind" by William H. Calvin exploring the possibility of the ice ages stimulating the human big brain boom...very interesting! And I definitely reccomend "Song of the Dodo" by: David Quaman...it's a total page turner satisfying any curiosity about colonization and speciation through examples in Island Biogeography.
