2001 :Obdurated has risen from OBDURATEs ashes (1996 2000). With a new line up, the band has chosen to turn towards a metal music influenced both by the trash metal of the eighties like Megadeth or Metallica and by the Swedish Death metal of the nineties like At the Gates, In Flames or The Haunted.2002:Most of that year, the band composed and rehearsed in order to prepare his first demo Slovenly nation which was released at the beginning of 2003. Obdurateds ambition was to play an original kind of metal different from the traditional French metal music. Obdurated wanted to show the public the richness of his composition, combining the power of thrash and hardcore with much tune. Obdurated started to go on stage eagerly. The local audience soon welcomed the bands music.2003:Obdurated created his first Internet website and spent most of the year composing and playing on stage. The band started to play the first part of important concerts like the coolnesstival with Dagoba and Asgaroth, Dagda organisations with Horresco Referens and Necroblaspheme and also for the Picardpediem festival.2004:The band released his second demo Lobotosodomized by TV asserting his ambitions. Obdurated became an association to play more on stage and to be able to organise concerts.2005:The band concentrated on the making of a new album, a great deal of work wasmade for that album to be professional with a sound as powerful as the compositions. The album Living in failure was released on October 1st. With that 1st album, Obdurated wishes to establish his style and to be nationally known. Therefore, he is looking for sponsors.
