GOD'S EARS Wins Best Supporting Actor!l!
For those who don't know (and there are many, trust me) I started as a filmmaker at 10 years old, making super 8mm and video films as a kid. I would write the scripts, direct the films and as much as possible act in them too (Enter The Toad was my real action film debut). I came to Los Angeles a year before graduating high school and got my SAG card. Though I lived that proverbial acting life style (in my truck with my dog Thrasher) I hung in there while many of my acting brethren dropped like flies around me.
After doing a few of these independent (a nice term for "B" ) films I got a role on the TV series ACAPULCO H.E.A.T. and while spending a couple years in Mexico fighting global terrorism, I realized it was time I started getting more involved with the productions I was acting in.
I started Grizzly Peak Films (Grizzly Peak is a road near where I grew up that over looks San Francisco and it was there, on my motorcycle, I would sit and think about the many goals that awaited me) and began to make films through the company in an attempt to create more interesting and personal characters, stories and films.
Recent films that I have produced have gone on to great film festival success and will soon be released. They include the thriller/western DUAL and my most recent, and personal, film about an autistic boxer, GOD'S EARS.
So, here I am and I'll do my best to update this crazy business as I go through it, both fists a'swinging.
