I'm desperate to:

lose my helmet, and pretend to walk my bike home and then win the roadwise award.
cut through the vacant block with the bus to get home.
walk across the grass, cut through the garden bed.
hear the sound of Nugget jumping up to put his paws on the gate when I got home.
duck my head under the lattice to let myself in through the laundry door that we never lock.
dig up a time capsule that was once hidden under a tree.
draw on my simple plan poster, then throw a dart at their family jewels, or the switch that detonates the bomb.
paint the number 4 everywhere.
make up new poundscratch moves.
take photos on my swing.
play "jack jump over the candle stick" in my backyard by jumping over the sprinklers.
dance to the spice girls with clair, cristina aguilera with ez and the zorba dance with sammy.
ride my bike or rollerblade across the road to the holiday house.
jump the fence of the holiday house to the park.
climb our tree, the one with the koala seat and the bunkbeds, before some fat chick broke it.
play sailor moon and find the shoe in the sandpit.
walk to jazzes street and then run zigzagging down the middle of the street to meet her, then walk with her to the deli to buy lollies, then back to the park for a bitch-sess.
play cricket and tennis and harry potter on my driveway.
make jaz help me and sam over my back fence and then watch her struggle.
push the flowery couches in the loungeroom together and watch Ace Ventura, Robin Hood and Tarzan with Sam and Natalie.
stay up till 5:45am, go for a jog half-way down the street, almost die, and come back home to sleep.
play that game where one person wakes up and goes to check the mail and the other has to sneak into the house.
walk to natalie and aaron's and daniel's and tyla's and jazz's and sam's (even though thats a treck), just because I can.
eat lemon grass in the underground cubby as we talk about fire and snake drills and the lions in the vacant block.
balance on the bricks that border the garden bed.
try to remember the names I gave to all the plants in our front garden; all harry potter characters of course.
sit in the middle of the road, in the middle of summer, in the middle of the night.
