I have been singing since I was three years old and writing music since the age of five. My biggest goal is to be heard and change some people's minds about negativity. Considering the fact that I'm a young, African American, and a teenage girl, many people tend to look down on me. I truly believe in the words “age is just a number.” It shouldn't have the power to make you less than anyone else. I was raised by my father Robert, and my mother Cheri, and the biggest thing I've learned from them is be all you can be. So instead of just being a dancer or a singer, I'm going to make use of all the talents that god's blessed me with. When you hold back your gifts, they will be taken back. In this great year of 2007 I'm praying for success and happiness. I have show hitting the air soon titled Rising and I'm very excited about that. I have the opportunity of meeting and interviewing upcoming stars. The show will premiere on the Black Family Channel. My biggest passion is singing. It’s the air I breathe, truly. I write all of my own music and believe it’s important to have meaning to songs. If you really listen to the lyrics to all of the songs, there’s an important message I’m trying to get out or speak upon. I’m looking forward to meeting new people, continuing to pursue my dreams, and live life to the fullest.
