I'm gettin' a dog.

About Me

I'm an army guy originally from Pasadena CA but currently residing in Alaska. In the middle of my second tour in Iraq, just got back from leave where I tore my MCL doing what makes me happy on a mountain in Colorado. I think I'm pretty fun/funny most of the time, but I do tend to take things very seriously at times, I can be a touch neurotic at times. You only live once and only have one chance to do things right. I'm a hard worker when I believe in the job and I won't quit if it's worthwhile. But most importantly, I'm kinda like an ice berg, you're only seeing the tip, but the deeper you get, the more there is to me. I'll surprise you or your money back.U CAUTION IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY IT IS ADVISABLE TO KEEP SCOOTSHEP AWAY FROM FIRE AND FLAMES.

My Interests

I love driving, played baseball for something like 15 years growing up, and I love playing golf with my dad. Really gettin' into snow since I'm here in the AK. I love music, listen to something whenever possible. I don't really drink, don't smoke, and dont go to strip clubs, so instead I drive, hang out with my buds, go to movies, and eat out a lot. And play in the snow. Join me on OkCupid.

I'd like to meet:

Some radtastic chick who loves snow like me, is tall and smart and pretty, and most of all, can deal with me and my crap. Not sure one of those exists.

Music:

I like just about anything with the word "rock" in it. I'm always on the hunt to find the newest, most modern stuff I can find. While it doesn't bother me and I can handle being in someone else's car with it on, I don't listen to country, hip-hop, classical, etc. The only thing I can't stand is jazz. Just don't really enjoy the lack of structure in a lot of jazz.

Movies:

My favorite is American Beauty, but I'll admit to watching something a little less enticing occasionally. Like military movies, so long as they're somewhat accurate. Love movies based on books unless they don't tell the same story like the way they butchered Sum of All Fears. It was such a great book. I thought Jarhead was good. Now, I haven't read the book, so I don't know how well they line up, BUT, I thought it did a very good job at showing life in the infantry, even if they were a bunch of jarheads.
