About Me

You Are a Centaur
In general, you are a very cautious and reserved person.
However, you are also warm hearted, and you enjoy helping others in practical ways.
You are a great teacher, and you are really good at helping people get their lives in order.
You are very intuitive, and you go with your gut. You make good decisions easily. What Mythological Creature Are You? VERSION 4.6: My inspiration, spirit, drive, motivation, beliefs, and methods all come from within. I am a true introvert and very independently minded. I can be stubborn, but I am also very pragmatic and can be swayed by a logical arguement. I am honest and loyal to those who are deserving. My repect has to be earned, but will be unequivocal. My name is Rob. I'm uneasy talking about myself, and do not like being the center of attention. I can come across as being aloof (: I'm not a loof you're a loof :) and I s'pose that is not inaccurate, but its due to my reserved nature rather than any dislike of you. I tend to want to initially process in my mind what I see and hear - to try and make it make sense to me. Because of that, I often miss the "moment". I am usually attracted to and most of my friends are extroverts. They are much easier to deal with. Introverts are much more puzzling to me - ironic eh? I have a handfull of very close friends who've invested alot of time in me. I'd like to expand that base. Despite my shyness, I can get real goofy, I like to laugh. My humor runs from dry deadpan to offbeat to silly to morbid to ribald to very un-PC. I may not loosen up, though, until I get to know you, or at least know what to expect, at which point some sarcasm and bluntness will emerge. I am a positive person ... about myself, the future and I'll always give others their due. I live in the city and I like it, but I'll always be a country boy at heart willing to take or make an excuse to get to where there are trees, hills, rocks, and streams.found this retro layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com :: MyHotComments

My Interests

The clear moonless night sky far, far from the city. Clumpy snowflakes falling straight and gently covering every branch. The smell of decayed and crunch of red, orange and yellow leaves as you walk though the late October woods. The flash of white off to the side as a whitetail sees you first. The ambling hog-shaped black figure, and realizing the bear was too close. - I race/ride bicycles on the track, road, and off road. I also inline skate, cross country ski, and do a bit of trail running. I can ice skate(only forward), I like go boating with friends on Wisconsin's waterways. I fish, I hunt - both gun (gasp) and bow. I do some weight lifting for training purposes but am not a meathead. I play chess; am willing to try any game of strategy and tactics. I like word games - scrabble, crosswords. I am usually willing to go out for drinks (beer, whiskey, red wine) and have been known to enjoy a good cigar. I enjoy the outdoors. I like bonfires, camp fires (and camping). Hot tubbing under the stars and/or snow, Volleyball, softball - rarely get to. Things I used to do or have done once or twice and would like to do again: mountain climbing, canoeing, waterskiing (though I can't swim), clay sculpting and artsy crap. Oh yeah, Packers, Brewers, Bucks, NASCAR
Your Personality Is
Rational (NT)

You are both logical and creative. You are full of ideas.
You are so rational that you analyze everything. This drives people a little crazy!

Intelligence is important to you. You always like to be around smart people.
In fact, you're often a little short with people who don't impress you mentally.

You seem distant to some - but it's usually because you're deep in thought.
Those who understand you best are fellow Rationals.

In love, you tend to approach things with logic. You seek a compatible mate - who is also very intelligent.

At work, you tend to gravitate toward idea building careers - like programming, medicine, or academia.

With others, you are very honest and direct. People often can't take your criticism well.

As far as your looks go, you're coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly.

On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things. The Three Question Personality Test

I'd like to meet:

I could give a rat's ass about celebrities, and don't care to meet any unless they want to meet me...I'm here to meet real people.
You Belong in Dublin
Friendly and down to earth, you want to enjoy Europe without snobbery or pretensions.
You're the perfect person to go wild on a pub crawl... or enjoy a quiet bike ride through the old part of town. What European City Do You Belong In?

Television:

It's on in my room when I'm home and not sleeping (and sometimes then). When I'm online It's just above and to the right...It's also a jumping off place for Stinky, she didn't come from bunnyherolabs, she came from Just Art's Saloon.

Books:

The Bedside Book of Bastards. I used to read a lot of fiction and sci-fi, but not so much anymore, yet Douglas Adams will always have a place in my heart. I've been known to crack open the Bible - or at least it's there if I want to.... Most of the books that I get now are informational in nature. I may even buy a book just for a single chapter. Most of what I read is probably not interesting to anyone but me.

Heroes:

While There are many people that I repect and even admire (my dad), I find it hard to have heroes. Scores of men and women have done incredibly heroic things, to be sure. But in reality they are very much like you and I: normal, human, flawed. Hero status portends incredible (uncredible) qualities. So, no heroes.
