So.... Where to begin??? I'm a recent New York transplant south of the Mason Dixon line... Yahoo! ...can't complain about the weather anyway! I'm your 'typical' art fag... The only thing that really distinguishes me from the myriad of other art fags is that I'm ACTUALLY pretty damned good at everything I say I'm good at... and I've got the portfolio to prove it. Among other things, I'm a Graphic Artist, Costume/Fashion/Underwear Designer, Makeup Artist, Musician (synthesizers and other techno toys), Digital DJ (House, Electro, Trance and Tribal) and have been dabbling in Interior/Retail/Nightclub Design and Photography.I'm old enough to know better... and young enough not to care... (bring on the dancing, whiskey and the debauchery that generally ensues!)I used to be shy and reserved... that got me nowhere as slowly as you can imagine. I decided to give that up and see what the world had to offer me before my social life consisted of nothing more than waiting patiently for the next Mensa invitation. (...and no, I'm not bragging... The powers that be can be sure that I've burned away quite a few of those pesky extra IQ points over the past decade...)So... here I am in Virginia with a few of my closest friends trying to make something out of my 'golden years' while pursuing all wonders and opportunities that are presented to me. I miss my rather large group of close friends back home, but I know that this is what is best for me... at the moment, anyway...I'd love to meet some more local friends that have the same passion for knowledge, the arts, culture and everything else out world has to offer us.
