Mic Braggz was born in Buffalo, NY in the eastside neighborhood known as "cold springs". He grew up in the slums and found himself attracted to the fast life of the street at an early age. Along with the street, he also became attracted to the culture of Hip-hop.His main influences were Public Enemy, Eric B. & Rakim N.W.A., Kool G Rap, and Big Daddy Kane. He discovered his knack for rhyming in the early 90's, but didn't take it serious until the mid 90's after he became a member of a group called "The Buffalo Soldiers". After the group broke up, he went solo and began to perfect his craft. He performed in many shows and battles to sharpen his skills. He has performed in the 1st Battle of the 64 Emcees, in which he slayed the competition, performed at numerous shows(too many to name). He also performed with D-12 and Dr. Dre's producer Mel-man, in which both called him the illest emcee. He is a workhorse who is always in the studio recording songs. He has appeared on numerous mixtapes and albums. He has guess appeared on records from Alleyway records, Adiyon, Heat, Shaft, X-Quizit, and the list goes on. He has songs in heavy rotation on 91.3(WBNY), and his song "Buff City" held 93.7(WBLK) "Battle of the Beats" ..1 spot for six straight weeks beating the likes of Busta Rhymes and Jay-Z. He has respect from both underground emcees as well as mainstream emcees. In plain words, Mic Braggz is the "truth". His delivery is strong and aggressive, his style is street with a commercial appeal, and his lyrics are just amazing. Mic Braggz is the future of Rap.
