Michael Norman

Born in the city of Orlando, fl. better known as the "mouse factory" most; no scratch that ALL of my upbringing was in the church...like l had choice, but it all turned for the good I started playing at the age of 7yrs on a toy organ that my parents bought me for Christmas, that's really where my love for the organ began, you know, after hearing people like Billy Preston, Jimmy Smith who wouldn't want to play the organ, unlike most musicians I started on the Organ then moved to the piano as a matter of fact for nearly 10yrs all i would play was the Hammond B3, we use to say if your church didn't have a hammmond in it you were just playing church. Thanks to everone who endure my musical beginings (mom, dad, Rev. Chenault, H. Brahnum, and a whole lot of others. Through the years I've had the pleasure of playing with some of the most talented musicians in the world that you may never know; but remember no one become a succuss by there own efforts alone there always someone to inspire, encourage and to help along the way and I have had a lot of them. As a consequence I've played with mostly gospel acts like Twikie Clark, Karen Clark, Vickie Winans, Kieth Staten, Timothy Wright, Allen TD Wiggins, Ben Tankard, Bo Williams, Mattie Moss Clark to name a few.Music is my life and I hope that what you hear here will speak you to in some significant way.
