I had to work hard to become the person that I am today. In the past I used to get in a lot of trouble. Then one day, when I was only thirteen years old and I had just gotten expelled from school and had also hit rock bottom again, I decided that instead of being known as the victim, I wanted to be known as the survivor. So I worked on building up my life, and I made a few more mistakes along the way, but this time I learned from them. Although I am still growing as a person, I don't regret who I have become. I'm proud of myself for coming along so far, especially when I see my old "friends", most of them who are going to end up in juvie, involved in gangs, drop outs, pregnant, or druggies. Sometimes, You need to walk alone, just to prove you can.
