About Me

We are Newcastle's hidden gem. We started in parallel to Slampt! alongside Bone, Pussy Cat Trash, Kenickie, Delicate Vomit, the Unseen, Missy X and Razorblade Smile in the mid 90s and have been doin' our thing ever since. John Peel played almost everything we released when he was still with us and we did Peel Sessions for him in '98 and '00. He also came to see us live several times, he was a legend, god rest his soul. We're friends with just about every independant band in the North East of England. We've played gigs with some amazing bands both local and touring / present and past, including Chippewa Falls, Cries and Wild Eyes, Citizens Here and Abroad, the Futureheads, Red Monkey, Maximo Park, Milky Wimpshake, Nev Clay, The Black Static of Summer, Construction Yards at Night, The Horse Loom, Moira Stewart, Paper Cut Out, Mansions of Glory, Chronicity, Les Cox (Sportifs), Lake Me, The Rest, Kenickie, The Big Oaks, Die! Die! Die!, Stop Hitting Yourself, the Elks, Bellafea, Thalia Zedek, Jack Mountain, Me Myself and The Ghost of Tom Morgan, Acetate Zero, Penetration and about a hundred others (sorry if we missed you on this list).
