About Me
Born in 1983, JASC started creating music in 1998 during the “Impulse Tracker eraâ€. Later on, his passion for music inspired him to take initiative and host underground private parties in his hometown Bistrita. His music represented a new alternative to what was being played in all the other clubs in town. Having a very large number of people love his personality and music, brought him his first residency at a Club in his hometown.
During his university years, more exactly in 2005, he became the resident DJ at Diesel, the most prestigious club in Cluj-Napoca. Here he had the privilege to open the night followed by some great artists and DJ’s like IIO, Rachael Starr, Anthony Pappa, Funkagenda, Rene Amesz, Toni Rios, Plastik Funk, Rebeka Brown, Tom Novy, Stefano Nofferini and many others. In 2006, he got a new and additional residency at FashionTV Club in Cluj-Napoca.
Just in time to reinforce his success , the end of 2006 brought him his very first contract with a label as a remixer (for Fiberlineaudio, USA) adding a meaning and a precise goal to the studio spent time. In the following years, JASC produced and remixed for many labels around the world: Sonus Music (RUS), Skills Records (RO), Christian Records (RO), Magnetik Grooves (RO), Kitschyrecords (UK), Dubkraft Records (UK, including a remix on vinyl), B79 Records (IT), Minimouse Records (RO), Emotive Sounds (IT), Shutdown Audio (RO), Substream (SWE).
As a DJ, JASC goes from progressive house to tech-house, minimal and techno. As a producer, the artist does not limit himself or his productions to a specific genre, many songs may in fact include influences from various styles creating and adding to the unique sound.
