I LOVE my beautiful, quirky and tempermental daughter, Adeline Marion and... my extremely shy yet dangerously outspoken husband, "Weiner". I love my "kids" (cats). Old men. Sundays and Mondays. Abandoned buildings. Sleeping in past 9 AM. The words: copasetic and gay. Smelling good. Mexico's Day of the Dead. Milk. John Goodman. Ghostly phenomena. Raining on peoples' parades. Cereal. The smell of old books. Perfect bangs and eyebrows. Cleaning. Naming strangers. The phrase "for Petes sake". I hate stagnant water. Short skirts. Texas. Dirty feet and shoes. Taxadermied animals. Unpainted toenails. Bicyclists. Sappy songs. Racists and homophobes. Walking too far. (I realize I have more dislikes than likes and that's typical of me)- Health food. Little dogs. People who think they're "something". Ankle tattoos. Shopping. Getting stoned. When people don't have the courtesy to thank you after holding a door open for them. And more than anything, I hate not being able to stay home (I loathe our country for making my family "the working poor") with my amazing baby. She teaches me soo much about who I want to be and helps me aspire to become that person. I have a long way to go... Oh, and- phalluses are ugly.
