About Me

Hey all! Well, 2007 is almost gone. It's been a wild ride for me, that's for sure! I reunited with my love, and we got married in a wonderful intimate ceremony with friends and family by the lake on 07-07-07. I'm now the very thing that I have always wanted to be... a wife and mother. I have three amazing kids, each with their own unique qualities and talents. Dalton, my 13 year old, is handsome, charming, and already about 4 inches taller than me. Ciarra, my 10 year old, is beautiful, witty, and can pretty much handle herself in most situations. Peyton, my 7 year old, is adorable, energetic, and fortunately for me, still wants to be my snuggle buddy... well, for a few more weeks, I suppose. I have the most amazing husband, who can walk into the room and make me feel like I'm the only woman in the world. He works very hard to take care of us, which takes him away from home a lot. But we show him how much we all miss him when he gets home. Now, we are working on restoring a really amazing old house to make it a real and true home for our family. Even though it's already been a lot of hard work, and there is a lot more work left to do... we are really and truly loving it! Brock and I have agreed that we have made a wonderful team, and we are ready to take on bigger and better challenges!! (Well, maybe not so much bigger... *giggling*)

Hey, you all know me, right! I'm interested in lots of stuff - most of which involves my kids or my husband! I like to go camping, walking, road trips, shopping, or just hanging around the house with everyone. I do enjoy the occasional trip to the mall, but not all the time. I'm not that into crowds.

Who would I like to meet?? I haven't really given it that much thought. I suppose I would like to meet anyone who is not fake or phony, and who believe in having ideals and goals, as well as morals. Those all seem to be in pretty short supply these days.

Heroes:

My heroes? That one is easy. My children are my heroes because they have been through so much and they are still happy, with smiles and love and faith. This isn't the life I would have chosen for them, but they have done wonderful things with every obstacle that has been thrown at them. I wish I could be more like them. I would have to say that my husband is also my hero. He has been through the fire and has come out beautifully. He may always be a little rough around the edges, but that's part of his charm. He is a wonderful person who has refused to let his past define what his future holds in store. Yeah, I wanna be like him, too.
