About Me

My Interests

Yoga, pilates (though not as much as yoga), tai chi, live music, dancing, buddhism, taking pictures, all kinds of psychology, running, cooking cypriot food for my cypriot friends, wine, beaches, margaritas or just tequila ;), spending time with my family (although they're in a different country), going to the gym and doing body pump, drinking sticky toffee coffee at Bennigans with Anda, floating in the ocean (or sea now), swimming, drinking good beer, meeting people who I like.

Music:

house, trance, hiphop, rap, cheesy-gay-boy-dance-music, indie rock, girl bands, and dance remixes of pretty much anything.

Movies:

Pretty much any good, at least semi-realistic psychological thriller, Monster, Requiem for a Dream, Memento, Crash, Gia, Identity, Fahrenheit 911, Boys Don't Cry, Erin Brockovich, Office Space, and of course My Big Fat Greek Wedding :)

Television:

Prison Break, L word, Queer as Folk...And whatever else Tasia wants to burn for me :)

Books:

Memoirs about people's lives that are more fucked up than my own or fiction that is scary, but realistic or psychological in any way.

Heroes:

Be your own.

If I had a dollar for every time one of us said to the other, "This can't be a real road," I'd be rich.   This weekend Barb and I decided to get out of the big city and do something different. A...
