World rejoice! Rock n’ roll has returned!
The five-piece sonic powerhouse, St. Paradox, formed in Oxford, Michigan in 2004. Rocking steadily and diligently, and determined to make tremendous worldwide impact, St. Paradox released their full-length CD, “A Walk in the Fair†in 2006. By this time, the band had amassed a wealth of original material, inspired heavily by the likes of AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Guns N’ Roses, and their own tremendous passion for this brand of driving, bluesy rock n’ roll. Also an impressive and diverse local following had developed throughout southeast Michigan, the masses enthused to see a timeless and empowering style of music being revived and reinvented by a new generation of rockers.
As 2006 came to a close, St. Paradox parted ways with its original guitarist, and enlisted Bill Auiler and Randy Blitchok (both formerly of Heathrow Gunn, a highly-lauded local rock group) as the new lead and rhythm guitarists, respectively. Wasting no time, St. Paradox entered the studio to revise and re-record existing material, and began scheduling frequent weekly gigs, practically blasting out of the gates before the new-year gunshot had gone off.
St. Paradox’s table-thumping, high-energy live show can be witnessed almost any given weekend, the details listed at www.myspace.com/paradoxrocksdetroit --the best source for St. Paradox news and information.
