aWe are the Time To Live band in Alaska. We are a group of Misfitz which was our prior name. J-Lee, lead vocals, bass, guitar, and singer-songwriter. She put out a CD, titled Train out of Palmer. You may check out her CD on CDBaby.com. She tends to wear freaky clothes and likes to jump off stage and dance with whoever wants to dance. Starts conga lines. (forgets she is supposed to be playing not playing). Kerry, lead guitarist, lead vocals, bass, keyboards and also a singer-songwriter. Kerry adds to our song list with his own originals also. He is the technical freak. Everything in it's place you know. (drives us nuts). But without him we would sound like crap. Greg is an incredible drummer with a great style. He tends to like to put things on his head (like wigs, hats, other people's hair). He has a bit of a fettish I think. Duane Herd. Our other lead guitarist. This guy is totally rocks. Duane has been playing for many, many years with many different groups.One you might remember, Synergy. I call him the bad ass rockin teddy bear. Tear it up Duane!! ROCKIN ALASKA
We play a variety of music. Originals, 80's Rock, Classic rock, southern rock, reggae, country, blues. Some of the places we have played at include ( CHILKOOT CHARLIES, AL'S ALASKAN INN, KING MOUNTAIN LODGE, HOWLING DOG, MOOSEQUITOS, BEST WESTERN, GREAT BEAR, MAT-SU RESORT, PLAYER'S HOUSE OF ROCK, MOOSEHEAD SALOON, FLIGHT DECK, WILLOW TRADING POST, ALASKA STATE FAIR, SUNRISE INN, HOUSTON LODGE, HUMPYS,CANTWELL LODGE, DOGS BAR, THE ZONE, TUG BAR, SETTLER'S BAY, YUKON BAR, FAIRVIEW INN, MOTHERLODE LODGE, NINILCHIK RODEO, PIONEER LODGE, MAKE-A-SCENE) We have also played for fund raisers, for the ABATE Groups, Mat-Su Borough Union Parties, Private Weddings, AWAIC in Anchorage.
